U.S.D. Irsinese Calcio is an Italian association football club located in Irsina, Basilicata. It currently plays in Serie D. It's colors are white and blue.

History

The club was founded on July 22, 2009 when Fortis Murgia Irsina acquired the sports title of Azzurra Tricarico in Eccellenza Basilicata.[1] In the 2009-10 season Fortis Murgia won this league and the Coppa Italia Eccellenza and was promoted to Serie D where it played its home matches in Altamura.[2]

In summer 2011 the club merged with Real Irsina, a club playing in Promozione Basilicata, becoming U.S.D. Irsinese Calcio.[3]

It plays at the Stadio XXI Settembre - Franco Salerno, in Matera, which has a capacity of 8,500.
